Need to present without any animation on existing PowerPoint?
Regardless of the reason, sometimes you need to present existing animated slides without any animation. To achieve this—without laboriously removing animations via the Animation Pane—simply click Slide Show on the ribbon and then choose Set Up Slide Show:
Then tick the Show without animation checkbox.
Your slide show will be viewed sans animation.
First step in designing a presentation someone else has drafted? Globally replace two spaces with one. Back in the day, there was no such thing as a TrueType font; letters had fixed spacing, so two spaces were necessary to clarify a sentence break.
PowerPoint: Mouse to Edit | Replace (KB Shortcuts: CTRL + H for Win; Shift + CMD + H for Mac) and enter two spaces in the Find box; press tab to get to replace box and enter a single space | click Replace All).
Voila! Kiss funky rivers in your text goodbye.
